Dr. Correia is fully committed to service at The Ohio State University as well as serving the profession in editorial and leadership activities. She has editorial responsibilities in several national and international journals. She is also often invited to speak at events on creativity & innovation in education, the use of generative artificial intelligence in education and online education.
Ohio State’s 2023 Symposium focused on creativity with technology in education.
Dr. Correia’s responsibilities as director of the Center on Education and Training for Employment include but are not limited to advancing the alignment of the center with Ohio State’s College of Education and Human Ecology’s directions in research, teaching, and service and with the university mission. Under her leadership, the center has solidified its influence as a translational research center with expertise in workforce development, community engagement, and education and achieved realignment with the College’s core values and pillars.
